Terms of Service

1. Licence

Miaoboxzone is licensed, not sold. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the application on machines you control, under the plan you purchased or the free tier.

2. Acceptable use

You may use Miaoboxzone only to save media that you have the right to save. You must not:

  • use the application to remove DRM or bypass paywalls;
  • redistribute media you saved with the application when you do not hold the rights to it;
  • use the application where doing so would break the terms of the source platform or applicable law.

3. Your data stays local

Miaoboxzone stores your media, library database and settings on your machine. The vendor does not receive copies of your media or your library. Telemetry is limited to crash reports you explicitly choose to send.

4. External tools

Miaoboxzone works together with extractor and media binaries that you install and control. Those tools are governed by their own licences; the vendor is not their author.

5. Liability

The application is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the vendor is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for how you use saved media.

6. Changes

These terms may be updated. Material changes are announced in the changelog before they take effect.
